Half term homework

As just discussed in class, your half term homework is as follows:

1. Think about the games you played today. They were all fun and taught you something about the 3Rs or the environment. Can you design and make one of your own? Remember, it can be a twist on a game you already play at home.
2. Write a blog post about today's trip. You could: say what you learnt; describe what we did; explain how you are going to put the 3Rs into practise at home or say why more people need to know about how to reduce, reuse and recycle.
3. Spend some time working on your revision books!

On our way home

Our class has just came back from our trip at the Global Renewables Plant. When we walked round we saw all the rubish getting crushed up and sherded we learnt loads of new stuff, we are very lucky we went. Then at lunch we had to whay our non waste rubish it wasnt that bad, we got 12.6g per a person and we came 9th out of all ten schools. We had a look at all diffrent rubish they was evan a pare of football trainers. All the rubish had been put into all the right colloms the workers there are very hard workers, we had loads of fun to end the week and is very thankful for going (but it was very smelly!!).

Today we are going to global renewable center we can not wait to go we have been learning some really good stuff about it. We would like to find out more. It has been really fun and enjoyable. We are very thankful for Sue for coming in to teach us loads of new things last week. I have learnt to recycle my rubbish instead of throwing it in the bin!

Is one of my favourate players in the world, because he plays for my favorate team barcelona football club and in barcelona his number will all ways be the number ten.Also he has got speedy skilage and plays as a striker in both of his teams :argintina, barcelona.

Steven Gerrard

I like Steven Gerrard as an skillfull midfielder his number will all ways be four also he will all ways be off his feet trying to get the ball off a different player on the other team. He has all ways played for liverpool,not like any other players. For exsample, Fernando Torress,Robbie Kean.

Charlie Chaplin

Charlie Chaplin came from a poor background and his real name was sir Charles Spencer Chaplin. Also he was born on the 16 of April 1989. Furthermore he had one brother called Sydney earl Chaplin and another brother called Wheeler Dryden.Also he had a dad called Charles Spencer Chaplin Sr.And a mum called Hannah Chaplin.

He had four wives the first wife was called Mildred Harris,and the second wife was called Lita Grey,and the third wife was called Paulette Goddard,and the fourth one was called Oona O'neil. He grew up in London with his two brothers and parents but there parents split up because they were to ill.

Zidane

In the 2006 World Cup match against Brazil, Zidane was a helpful team player. With his fancy footwork, he skilfully passed through all the embarrassed Brazilian players before setting up a number of chances. Eventually, he set up a goal for number 12, Henry.

Zidane is so fast and light on his feet (like a cheetah). When he’s on your team you have the best team in the world.

Ronaldo

Zidane is great. However, my favourite player has to be Ronaldo.  He’s my favourite player because he knows when there an opportunity to shoot and he take’s it. He is an inspiration to me and his fans; he play’s for Real Madrid and plays upfront. He is a legend to me.

Some Ronaldo facts:

• He used to play for Man U from 2003-2009, making 196 appearances and scoring 84 goals;
• His kit number has always been number 7;
• His date of birth is February 5^th 1985 and birth place is Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.

Our Cinema Topic

In class we have been learning about the history of cinema.  Lots of us are intrested in animation so, today we were making short films on a website that is called http://www.filmstreet.co.uk/flashapps/stopframeanimator/
We were making loads of diffrent films like: people walking around on the street, people dancing and showing of their moves, people shouting at other people and so on.  We all used different scenes and also found it really fun.  Some of us made really hilaruous films and some of us made really good ones that just went along with the flow and created moves to match the music.
